Guess what, you guys? Both presidential campaigns are twisting the Supreme Court’s ruling on Obamacare to suit their own political ends! I’m pretty sure there was a time in American history when Supreme Court rulings were considered decisive.

President Obama’s campaign makes yet another plea for more money. Don’t I remember them saying something about how former Gov. Mitt Romney’s (R-MA) haul this month didn’t mean anything?

26 out of 50 states are now free from the shackles of No Child Left Behind, though Education Secretary Arne Duncan says his goal is to “fix” it, not ignore it. Actually, I’m pretty sure most people will tell you that ignoring NCLB is as good as Washington can do at the moment.

The White House calls on Congress to take the lead on job creation for the one million and 37th time. Which jobs? State-funded ones. Oh, yes, this will turn out well.

The Associated Press asks if libertarianism is “back,” as freedom is “in fashion.” 1. You’re about two years late to the game, guys. 2. You’re also going to piss off the Tea Partiers, who were there two years ago, so, so much.

Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), who has never served in the Armed Forces, accuses Democratic opponent Tammy Duckworth of running on nothing but her military service. For future reference for candidates, ask yourself “Would an ideological blogger enjoy thrashing a candidate they dislike over this?” Then do the opposite.

Rep. Thad McCotter (R-MI) resigns. Sadly, more people noticed this than people who noticed that he ran for president this year.

Congressional candidate Mia Love (R-UT) says she wouldn’t care if her salary were cut if she were elected. That may not seem like a huge deal, but not many candidates say this before the vote.

If you’re experiencing AIG/Goldman Sachs fatigue and are looking for a new financial institution to be mad at: Countrywide.

Canada has a new federal minister in charge of foreign aid, the last one having resigned. She has a habit of spending $16 on orange juice. I just hope we didn’t pay for her to turn it into a mimosa.

Israeli reservists get fed up with ultra-Orthodox Jews who are exempted from the military draft. I wonder what Israeli standards for “ultra” are like?

Mexican President-elect Enrique Pena Nieto faces accusations of vote-buying from his leftist opponent. The losers are always so much more bitter in Latin America, eh?
